Ohrlando’s Chamber Ensemble presents its Summer Concert Aug. 27-28 and Sept. 4 at three locations in West Hawaii.

After only four Chamber concerts this past winter, the woodwind trio offers a colorful, happy program with classical, romantic and modern works, including a few really funny, humorous pieces, during these concerts. The musical journey will guide attendees from Mozart’s Figaro Ouverture through Neo Classical music by Jacques Ibert and to a polytonal composition by Gustav Holst.

The trio includes Barbara Coffman, on flute; David Turner, on clarinet; and Roland Maurer, on oboe and bassoon. Coffman has performed several concerts with the ensemble since 2012 and Turner will make his first appearance with the group. Both play in local groups and are leading members of the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra.

Admission is free, however, a $15 donation per person is appreciated.

The first concert is 5 p.m. Aug. 27 at Christ Church Episcopal, Queen Emma Center. It will be followed the next day, Aug. 28, with a 4 p.m. concert at Kahilu Theatre. The final performance will be 4 p.m. Sept. 4 at a private residents.
