Satellites see big fishing’s footprint on the high seas

This image provided by Global Fishing Watch shows fishing activity around the world in 2016. Study co-author Boris Worm says the findings show that ships are obeying no-fishing zones and times, although they hover at the edges of marine-protected areas. (Global Fishing Watch via AP)
