The Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation announced that children can still be registered in their 2018 Summer Fun program. Offered now through July 20, it consists of a spectrum of arts and crafts projects, indoor/outdoor games, sports, music, dance, nature exploration, swimming, special events and excursions.

Within North Hawaii the program is available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Paaulio Gym, Honokaa Gym, Waikoloa Park and Waimea District Park.
