As an introduction to coding for young learners, a special workshop will be taught at North Kohala Public Library from 6-7 p.m. Aug. 13 to introduce the ScratchJr app. Designed for learners 5-7 years old, it uses block programming that allows keiki to create their own stories and digital content.
The app is a free download on iPad, Android tablets, Amazon Tablets and Chromebooks. If possible, bring your own device to the workshop.
