Friends may call at noon Nov. 1 at Hawaii Preparatory Academy's Davies Chapel for a 1 p.m. service. Reception will follow. Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to North Hawaii Community Hospital Crossword Puzzle Fund.
She is survived by parents, Susan and Jed Groom, of Waimea; maternal grandmother, Shirley (Neuman) Dawe, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; maternal grandfather, Jack (Joan) Alberts, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Powell, of Florida; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
