Family Assessment
Worker for Non-Profit:
Essential Duties: Screens pregnant women and families of newborns utilizing the screening checklist to identify those families in need of
further assessment for being at risk of child abuse and
neglect and/ or with special needs. Conducts psychosocial needs assessment interview using the Family Stress
Checklist with families
identified through screening process. Facilitates referral of appropriate families to
Early Head Start and/ or or other home visiting programs and/or community resources.
Qualifications/ Requirements: A High School Diploma or equivalent, an AA, CDA or a BA preferred, experience working with diverse populations,
organization skills.
Part-time position in Kona & part-time position in Waimea.
Registered Nurse for Non-profit:
Essential Duties:
Provides health and
psychosocial assessments and health education.
Provides a culturally
competent relationship-based healing approach to health care services as well as gross physical exam including vitals signs and extremity checks. Provides supervision
and oversight to program paraprofessional staff.
Participates in outreach
educational programs for
participants and community agencies.
Qualifications/Requirements: Registered Nurse in Hawaii, BLS/First Aid/CPR certified. Experience in Community Health and working with the Micronesian population.
This is a part-time position.
