Central Pacific, Eastern Pacific basins remain quiet

KAILUA-KONA — No tropical cyclones are expected to form within the Central Pacific and Eastern Pacific basins during the coming 48 hours, according to forecasters with the Honolulu-based Central Pacific Hurricane Center and Miami-based National Hurricane Center.
