Channel KBS America on Spectrum and Hawaiian Telcom has changed its picture size recently and is in a test period waiting feedback from viewers. They have changed from letterbox (black bars on top and bottom) to pillarbox (black bars to the left and right). What has resulted is many viewers who have their TV settings on “zoom” have the subtitles basically disappeared from the screen.
