    Neighborhood Watch leaders and CERT volunteers listened to a presentation by Barry Periatt of Hawaii County Civil Defense Wednesday at the West Hawaii Civic Center on the agency’s preparedness plan in the unlikely event of a thermonuclear detonation. The new Air Raid wail will be added to today’s siren testing at 11:45 a.m. and should a nuclear strike hit Hawaii, residents are advised to go inside, stay there and stay tuned for further instruction. During the test, all warning sirens will sound a one-minute attention alert signal, which will be a steady tone, followed by a minute of attack warning, which will be a wailing tone.
