Let’s examine the impeachment procedure since it seems to be a daily topic. Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution provides that “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” You can’t impeach a president because you don’t like him, or because he wasn’t supposed to win, or he doesn’t seem presidential, or because you think he’s mentally unstable.
