Advanced Ukulele meets every Tuesday from 9:30—11 a.m. with Aunty Marjie Spencer, and welcomes experienced players of all ages to bring their ukulele and join in a morning of friendship and song. Bring an iPAD or laptop, with forScore or unrealBook “app” installed for music sharing.

Knitting &Knitting Support is every Tuesday from 12:30—3 p.m. with Gretchen Geisler, a lifetime knitter. This class is for all skill levels ages 10 to adult. Bring projects, get knitting questions answered and visit with other knitters. Beginners will be guided into a suitable project.

Ancient Yoga with Deanna Olivier will meet from 11 a.m.- noon Aug. 30. This practice includes physical, mental and spiritual discipline for developing awareness, character and consciousness. It is an integrated system of exercise, breath control and meditation combining yoga postures with breathing techniques for a vigorous workout. Bring water, a yoga mat if you have one and a towel. Wear loose clothing.

Freedom from Pain Support Group meets from 12:30-2 p.m. every Thursday with Cynthia Magg, an EFT practitioner. Say “adios” to aches and pains that deplete your energy and disrupt your life. Join this weekly EFT tapping support group. Whether your pain is old, new, acute—injury or disease-related, quality of life can be improved. Weekly sessions are combined with mind-body-emotions concepts that will empower participants to access their body’s innate ability to self-heal. No prior EFT experience is necessary.

Chair Yoga meets from 9:30-10:30 a.m. every Friday with Michiko Sato, CYT. This gentle, yoga-in-a-chair practice is designed to stretch and strengthen the body without standing or lying on a mat. Class may also include some easy standing poses behind the chair.

Overeaters Anonymous is held from noon-1 p.m. every Friday. OA is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength and hope, are recovering from compulsive eating and compulsive food behaviors. OA welcomes anyone who wishes to stop eating compulsively.
