Kona coffee’s nearly 200-year heritage is being told in stitches at a special quilt show this week.

The exhibit is part of the 43rd annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival. The public can view coffee-themed works of art from quilters between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday at Quilt Passions Quilt & Needlework Shop on Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona.

Attendees voted for their favorites Wednesday. Results will appear in the newspaper when received.
