Niomey Rudick Alokoa, 61, of Kailua-Kona died June 14, 2013, at her residence. Born Oct. 21, 1951, in Kosrae, Micronesia, she was a housewife and member of the Kona Kosrae Congregational Church.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. July 2 at the Kona Kosrae Congregational Church in Kalaoa for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows in the Hawi County Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
She is survived by husband, Rudick Alokoa of Kailua-Kona; sons, Gifford (Darleen) Alokoa of Kailua-Kona, William Alokoa of Seattle; daughters, Lona (Aaron) Abraham, Dora (Dabert) Sigrah and Ruthey (Aliksa) Lonno, all of Kailua-Kona, Jocelyn (Linus) Sigrah of Kosrae, Micronesia; brothers, Frank Freddy and Likaiksa (Elsiner) Freddy, both of Kailua-Kona, Dick (Judy) Nena of Honolulu; sisters, Shure (Shiro) Palik of Waikoloa, Julise (Leon) Sigrah of Kosrae, Micronesia; 15 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
