Therapeutic riding program offers new session

Therapeutic Horsemanship Hawaii will start its next six-week session on Saturday and will continue through Dec. 15. It operates at Horseplay Equestrian Center in Honalo and offers horseback riding and horsemanship lessons to children and adults with special needs.

The classes meet from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Cost for the session is $150. Scholarship assistance is available. Volunteers are also needed.
