On April 21, Special Olympics West Hawaii will be hosting its Great Alii Power Pull at the Keauhou Shopping Center.
In previous years, Special Olympics used a fire truck, but this year it will be using a Hele-On bus.
Teams will compete in three categories: fastest pull, lowest combined weight and most enthusiastic team.
Teams must preregister by April 2nd. Event T-shirts will be given to all preregistered participants. Shirt sizes will not be guaranteed after April 2nd.
On the day of the event, check-in and registration will take place at 8:30; an event briefing, explaining logistics and rules, will be held at 9:30; and the bus-pulling action begins at 10 a.m.
