Kona Arts Center will sponsor a class on adding pen and ink to complement your watercolors. The class will be held at KAC in Kainaliu on March 24 and 31. Collie Will, an artist at KAC since 1991, will be the instructor. The first class will focus on adding watercolor to a pen and ink drawing and the second will focus on adding pen and ink to a completed watercolor.
You will need your own watercolor supplies and a good permanent ink pen, such as the Micron pens that can be found locally. Mainly black ink will be used, but other colors will be available to try. The two-day class costs $80. For more information, stop by KAC, call Will at 325-6185 or email columbinewill@gmail.com.
