Science night for families at Waimea Elementary

Waimea children and their families recently experienced an evening of hands-on science, thanks to the Bishop Museum’s “Holoholo Science Night — Festival of Science” at Waimea Elementary School.

The “hands-on” discoveries covered a range of science, including space exploration, astronomy, the human body, energy, marine and stream life.

Holoholo Science Night culminated a week of in-class science programs and included the popular indoor Star Lab where children view and learn about the night sky.
