Robert “Bob” Calvin Brown, 80, of Waikoloa, died March 22 at his residence. Born Dec. 14, 1931, in Bay Shore, N.Y., he was a retired systems analyst for Motorola in Arizona, Switzerland, France, Scotland and Hong Kong; an Army veteran and member of Big Island Ukulele Guild.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 31 at the Catholic Church of the Ascension in Puako for a 10 a.m. Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to North Hawaii Hospice.
He is survived by wife, Maureen Brown, of Waikoloa; daughters, Deborah (Brian) Bartle, of Phelan, Calif., Elizabeth Brown of Laurinburg, N.C.; son, Robert (Nancy) Brown. of Clifton Park, N.Y.; three grandchildren; two great-grandsons.
