c David Edward Gilles, 69, of Ocean View, pleaded guilty March 12 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $437 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
c Frank Julio Montrond, 59, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded no contest March 12 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $437 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
c Dannford V. Davis, 39, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded guilty March 12 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $687 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
c Liah Rebecca Harpster, 32, of Holualoa, was found guilty of driving under the influence of an intoxicant by bench trial March 15. She was sentenced to pay $437 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. She must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.
c Hookela Bryon Sanborn, 24, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded no contest March 15 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and inattention to driving. He was sentenced to pay $1,074 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
c Malon Albious, 22, of Kealakekua, pleaded guilty March 15 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant, driving with an improper license, failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance and inattention to driving. He was sentenced to pay $1,058 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. His license was also revoked.
c Kian K. Provinzano, 21, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded guilty March 15 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $687 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
c Jasmin Kanani Robertson, 29, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded guilty March 15 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. She was sentenced to pay $1,234 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. She must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time and her license was revoked.
