Betty Machida

Betty Sumire Machida, 87, of Hilo, died March 17 at her residence. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker. No services are planned.

She is survived by daughter, Margo (Benjamin Grubler) Machida, of Willimantic, Conn.; sister, Martha Yamashiro ,of Honolulu; brother, Jack Yamashiro, of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews.
