Kay Sakata Hisanaga, 89, of Wailuku, Maui, formerly of Hilo, died March 12 at her home. Born April 2, 1922, in Honolulu, she was a homemaker and Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin member.
Private services were held. The family requests monetary gifts and no flowers.
She is survived by son, Barney (Mary) Hisanaga, of Texas; daughters, Ann Lee, of Waipahu, Oahu, Naomi (Milton) Miyamoto, of Wailuku, Maui, Lori (Steven) Geller, of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Seiji (Betsy) Sakata, of Kailua, Oahu; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
