Kona Orchid Society meets Friday

The Kona Orchid Society will meet at 6 p.m. Friday at the Hualalai Academy Bridge House building located at 74-4966 Kealakaa Street. Roy Tokunaga from H & R Nurseries on Oahu will speak on Dendrobiums with a special emphasis on fertilizer recommendations for Hawaii’s conditions. Roy is offering KOS members a 10 percent discount and no shipping or packing fees for any plants ordered before the membership meeting. Go to hrnurseries.com and look at the orchids he is offering.
