Credit union employees contribute to United Way
Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union recently presented a check for $15,000 to the Hawaii Island United Way following an employee campaign.
The credit union’s employees have participated in United Way campaigns for more than 20 years. In the past 10 years, the credit union and its employees have donated an estimated $110,000 to HIUW.
Shaka Soap products on display at MTV Movie Awards
Shaka Soap has announced it will participate in a luxury Gift Lounge hosted by GBK Productions on June 1 and 2 at the L’Ermitage Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., in honor of the 2012 MTV Movie Awards nominees and presenters. Shaka Soap is participating in the annual event in association with The Artisan Group.
Following the MTV Movie Awards event, Shaka Soap will be preparing for the Primetime Emmys, which take place in September, where their products will on display at the luxury gift lounges once more.
Shaka Soap was selected as a member of the Artisan Group in 2011. The Artisan Group is a juried community of artisans who provide a sampling of handcrafted products to celebrities and members of the press at major award show Gift Lounges leading up to The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes and The Primetime Emmys.
