Demetrio “Nene” Gonsalves Sr., 64, of Pahoa, died April 13 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. May 7 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home for an 11 a.m. celebration of life.
He is survived by sons, Demetrio (Heide) Gonsalves Jr., Jesse (Janice) Gonsalves, both of Pahoa; daughters, Stephanie (Jameson) Gonsalves, Jolene (Williams) Gonsalves, both of Keaau; brother, Eddie Grammer, of Keaau; sisters, Mary (Elmer) Keller, of Pahoa, Tina Gonsalves, of Hilo; 18 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
