c Russell P. Serion, 38, of Captain Cook pleaded no contest April 9 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

c Edwin H. De Aguiar, 51, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $587 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

c Siaosi Fuka, 58, of Captain Cook pleaded no contest April 9 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $624 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also revoked.

c David Faisca Torres, 31, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty April 9 to driving under the influence of drugs. He was sentenced to pay $587 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

c Dallas Blair Adams, 31, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty April 12 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $1,074 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

c Brittany Lee Cambria, 23, of Waikoloa pleaded guilty April 16 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. She was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

c Jeffrey Closs, 50, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty April 16 to driving under the influence of drugs and refusing to submit to a breath, blood or urine test. He was sentenced to pay $474 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also perform an unspecified number of community service hours.

c Justin K. Ortranto, 33, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded no contest April 16 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $437 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.

c Wailani K. Ahmow, 21, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty April 16 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. She was sentenced to pay $1,134 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. Her license was also suspended.

c Michael Nesbitt, 50, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty April 16 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving without a valid license. He was sentenced to pay $574 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
