American Cancer Society offers free summer camp
For many children affected by cancer, summer camp seems like an impossible dream. The American Cancer Society is making that dream a reality with Camp Anuenue from June 3 to 9 at Camp Mokuleia on Oahu. The camp is free and open to children ages 7 through 18 who have or have had cancer.
Children registered with their local ACS office can attend Camp Anuenue. Campers do not have to be in remission to attend. Medical professionals and qualified counselors are on staff 24 hours a day.
Spots are limited. Call Debra Glowik at 489-7425 or visit acshawaiipacific.org/camp-anuenue to register.

These volunteers, providing answers to AARP-related questions, are at their table the fourth Monday of every month — the same day Social Security Administration representatives are at the civic center.
Tobacco Free Hawaii meets Friday
The West Hawaii Coalition for a Tobacco Free Hawaii invites the public to attend its meeting at 10 a.m. Friday at the Kona International Market food court.
For more information, contact Brenda Larson at 939-9696.
