Richard Estill Reed, 77, of Kailua-Kona, died May 17 at home. Born March 2, 1935, in Ashland, Ky., he was a sales representative for a major airline supplier.

Services were held.

He is survived by wife, Norma Reed, of Kailua-Kona; sons, Richard (Stephanie) Reed, of Holualoa, Scott Parnell, of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Julie Reed, of Kailua-Kona, Kelly (Brian) Costelloe, of San Diego; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
