Louie James De Souza, 81, of Pepeekeo, died June 26 at Hilo Medical Center. He was a retired farmer and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou.
Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. July 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial follows at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by sisters, Isabel Chandler, of Hilo, Violet De Souza, of San Jose, Calif.; brothers, Manuel De Souza Jr. and John P. Souza, both of Pepeekeo; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
