William “Bill” Arnold Lawrence Jr., 58, of Kailua-Kona, died June 14 at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born June 14, 1954, in Multnomah County, Ore., he was a construction superintendent; worked as an auto mechanic, heavy equipment operator, a carpenter and mason; and was hunter and fisherman.
Friends may call at 10:30 a.m. July 21 at the Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Harbor for an 11 a.m. celebration of life. Scattering of his ashes will take place followed by luncheon. Family requests casual attire be worn. Loose flowers are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Julie Lawrence, of Kailua-Kona; sons, Rodney (Puanani) Lawrence, William Lawrence and Joshua Lawrence, all of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Maile Lawrence, of Kailua-Kona; brother, Timothy (Linda) Lawrence, of Kailua-Kona; four grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
