Clarina Agmata Mateo, 92, of Waimea died July 12 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born June 24, 1920, in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a homemaker and St. James Episcopal Church member.
Friends may call July 28, 2012 at St. James Episcopal Church in Waimea, where visitation will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. and a funeral service begins at 10 a.m. The family requests casual attire be worn. Burial will follow at the church cemetery and lunch will be served at the St. James Hall.
She is survived by sons, Florencio (Melandrina) Mateo, Rogelio (Delia) Mateo of Philippines, Ernesto (Vitang) Mateo of Honokaa, Lito Mateo of Arizona; daughters, Natividad Mateo of the Philippines, Hilda (Armando) Tiu of Waikoloa, Pacita Navarro, Tessie (Domy) Bruno, Vicky (Rick) Mateo, all of Waimea; 31 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
