Abigail “Abbie” Kupihea Kelepolo, 65, of Kailua-Kona, died July 15 at her residence. Born May 13, 1947, in Kealakekua, she was a waitress at the former Kona Inn Hotel and a member of the Salvation Army home league group.
Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 8 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church lot, next to the Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, for a 10 a.m. celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn. Loose flowers are welcome.
She is survived by husband, Nolbert Kelepolo, of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Alexandra (Bronson Malani) Kelepolo, of Hilo; brothers, Francis (Jessica Mano) Mokuohai, of Honaunau, Richard Mokuohai and Moody Castillo, both of Kailua-Kona, Jonathan Castillo, of Waimea; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
