William “Bill” Weza, 66, formerly of Kailua-Kona, died Sept. 13 in the Marshall Islands. Born March 14, 1946, in Ontonagon, Mich., he was an Army veteran, general manager for Marshall Islands Resort and food and beverages director for Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort, former Kona Surf Resort, former King Kamehameha Hotel, Naniloa Hotel and Royal Lahaina Resort.
Friends may call at 11 a.m. Oct. 6 at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Harbor for a celebration of life. Lunch follows. Family requests casual attire be worn. Condolences may be sent to Keola Weza, 74-319 Nuhi Place, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740, or 960-6732.
He is survived by wife, Helena Weza, of Marshall Islands; sons, Robert Weza, of Marshall Islands, Keola (Kahea) Weza and Lanakila (Noriko) Weza, both of Kailua-Kona, Kanoa (Brittany) Weza, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; hanai sons, Clement (Shayn) Santiago and Damon Murray, both of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Kenneth Weza, of San Jose, Calif., Robert Weza, of California; seven grandchildren.
