c Waiakea 62, Hilo 49: The Warriors created a logjam in the East Hawaii Division I standings, pulling even with the Vikings at 3-1.
Dillon Rellez led the way for Waiakea with 13 points. Lucas St. George and Owen Samson each scored 12, and Bryson Ita added 10 points as Waiakea jumped out early.
For Hilo, Jodd Carter hit five 3-pointers to lead all scorers with 21 points.
Jacob Genegabus added nine.
Hilo won the JV game 52-34.
