Takeshi Okumura, 79, of Waikoloa passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, 2013, at his home. Born February 11, 1934, in Osaka, Japan, he was a retired bank manager and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Mission and also of the Kamuela Hongwanji Golf Club.
Private services were held.
He is survived by wife, Hanae Okumura of Waikoloa; daughter, Nancy Okumura of Mill Valley, Calif.; sons, Kenneth (Donna) Okumura of Sunnyvale, Calif., Curtis Okumura of Pleasanton, Calif., Victor (Stacey) Okumura of Belmont, Calif.; sister, Yasuko (Nobuyuki) Handa of Osaka, Japan; nine grandchildren.
Arrangements by Cremation Services of West Hawaii.
