Shizuyo Horiuchi, 88, of Keaau died Feb. 11, 2013, in a private care home. Born Aug. 10, 1924, in Olaa, she was employed as a sales clerk at the former Keaau Store and Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory and member of Puna Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and Keaau Village Association.
Private services were held. Family requests no flowers or monetary gifts.
She is survived by brothers-in-law, Seiko Fujiwara of Mililani, Shigeichi Hashimoto of Hilo; sister-in-law, Masae Horiuchi of Keaau; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
