Shizuyo Yamada, 95, of Hilo died Feb. 7 at her daughter’s home in Kailua-Kona. Born in Pahoa, she was a homemaker.

Private services were held. Her family requests no flowers.

She is survived by daughters, Ellen Yamada-Regidor of Kailua-Kona, Jennie (Larry) Mashino of Honolulu; son, Larry (Lynn) Yamada of Honolulu; brother Keiji (Harriet) Kobayashi of Pahoa; granddaughters, Shari Yamada of Kailua-Kona, Laura Yamada of Kailua-Kona; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
