HOVE fill station closed

The Hawaiian Ocean View Estates well pump won’t be removed until Wednesday, Department of Water Supply officials said Monday.

The community fill station closed Sunday evening. The well broke down April 1, and Water Supply is awaiting a contractor, who will remove the pump and assess what repairs are needed.

Alternate spigot sites are available in Waiohinu and Hookena.
