Kona police station extends gun registration hours

The Kona police station will be extending its hours for firearms registration beginning next month. Effective May 1, the hours for firearms registration at the Kona station will be 8:30 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The firearms registration offices in all districts will be closed May 3 and June 7 for county furloughs and on all county holidays.
