Rosalind Kamakini Chang, 91, of Volcano died April 6, 2013, at home. Born Sept. 4, 1921, in Wainaku Kai, Hilo, she was a retired registered nurse for Castle Medical Center and member of the Hilo Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Friends may call at 3 p.m. May 4 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo; for a 4:30 p.m. service. Private burial services are at a later date.
She is survived by sons, Ivan (Marie) Chang of Irvine, Calif., Eric (Beverly) Chang of Volcano, Mark Chang of Waipio, Oahu; sisters, Margaret Miranda and Eunice Matthews, both of San Diego, Elaine Brown of Honolulu, Marilyn Taua of Haiku, Maui; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
