Helen Chapman

Helen Jean Chapman, formerly of Kona, died March 29 in Los Angeles. Born Dec. 8, 1914, she was a longtime resident of Kona Palisades.

A private scattering of ashes in Kailua Bay will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Advocats or Hulihee Palace in Kona.

She is survived by daughters, Alison and Leslie of the mainland; son, Geoffrey of the mainland; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
