Robert “Rob,” “Bobby” Jacobs Kaaimoku Roy, 69, of Waimea died May 3, 2013, at his residence. Born May 10, 1943, in Kainaliu, he was a retired social worker for the state Corrections Department, a cowboy, horse trainer, hunter, teacher and a former coach and member of Queen Liliuokalani Canoe Club.

He is survived by wife, Sheila Roy of Waimea; sons, Nicholas (Cynthia) Roy of Omaha, Neb., Clint Roy of Lakewood, Colo.; daughter, Shonnelle Mamhot of Las Vegas; sister, Heather (Frank) Minton of Seattle; brothers, Charles (Katie) Roy of Las Vegas, Corbett Roy of Kailua, Oahu, Jake (Jaylyn) Roy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.
