Kawaihae Road closed because of traffic incident

Police are asking drivers to avoid Kawaihae Road at Anekona Road, approximately mile marker 63, because of a traffic incident. Kawaihae Road will be closed for the next few hours while responders work on clearing the roadway. Please use Waikoloa Road as an alternate route for the next several hours to access lower Kawaihae Road and Akoni Pule Highway.
