Felix Emon Canonigo, 86, of Kailua-Kona died May 14, 2013, at his residence. Born April 16, 1927, in Papaikou, he was a retired taxi owner of C&C Taxi Co., an artist and a ballroom owner, dancer and past president of the Kona Visayan Club.
Friends may call at 10:30 a.m. June 8 at Kona Life Church at 75-5669 Alii Drive above Scandinavian Shave Ice in Kailua-Kona. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by sons, Richard Canonigo of San Francisco, Patrick (Roxanne) Canonigo and James (Stephanie) Ige, both of Honolulu; daughters, Terry Herbert and Terri Anne Canonigo, both of Kailua-Kona, Liza (Joe) Wright of Texas; brother, Joseph (Jean) Quiyote of Kailua-Kona; 18 grandchildren; numerous grea-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
