Marcelino “Celine” H. Altura, 84, of Honokaa died June 24, 2013, at his residence. Born April 6, 1929, in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a cover seed tractor operator for Honokaa Sugar Co. and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. July 5 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for a 7 p.m. wake service. Friends may call again at 8 a.m. July 6 at the church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial is at the Honokaa Catholic Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Trinidad Altura of Honokaa; sons, Reynaldo (Amanda) Altura of California, Ronald Altura of Honokaa; five grandchildren.
