Parker lower school students, their teachers and some parents paraded in costume around campus Oct. 31 for Halloween. They were greeted with cheers by middle and upper schoolers and teachers, also decked out for the occasion. Afterward, sixth- through 12th-grade students held their annual costume contest.
Parker’s Spanish classes also celebrated Día de los muertos, or Day of the Dead, which falls on Nov. 1 and 2 every year and is a celebration of loved ones who have passed away. Several students painted their faces to resemble the Mexican-style skull decorations featured during this holiday.
