Oahu-based service members are scheduled to convoy from Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae Harbor between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Convoys will use the Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Mamalahoa Highway, Waikoloa Road, Queen Kaahumanu and Akoni Pule Corridor. Military police will escort the convoys.
Service members are also scheduled to convoy between Keaukaha Military Reservation in Hilo and Pohakuloa Training Area between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.Wednesday through May 29.
Convoys will use Hilo Airport Road, Kanoelehua Avenue (Highway 11), West Puainako Street, Komohana Avenue, Puainako Extension Route 2000 and Daniel K. Inouye Highway.
The Hawaii Police Department will escort the convoys. Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with care.
The PTA Department of Army police are working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity in support of unit training.
