The Volcano Art Center’s “Jazz in the Forest” series continues with an encore performance by Grammy winning vocalist Pauline Wilson on Aug. 29.
Wilson opened the “Jazz in the Forest” series back in March and performed two standing-room-only shows. She will be once again backed by the stellar Volcano Art Center Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Jr Volcano Choy. Shows are at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Wilson was the voice of the famed contemporary jazz group, “Seawind” in the 1980s and has been featured on the recordings and performances of the likes of Bruce Hornsby, Celine Dion, the Jazz Crusaders and George Benson, among others.
Tickets for the 4:30 p.m. performance are $15 for art center members and $18 for nonmembers. The 7:30 p.m. performance will be $20 for art center members and $25 for nonmembers.
