Kahilu Theatre production of She’Island postponed

The Kahilu Theatre production of She’Island has been postponed until April 23 and 24, 2016.

A staged reading will be held at the Waimea theater’s Green Room at 7 p.m. Oct. 24. Tickets are free, but must be reserved by calling 885-6868.

Director Jane Sibbett will workshop with the writers and actresses already cast, and will audition more island women to build community participation in all areas of this production, including acting, dancing, design, stage management and more. Another round of auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Kahilu Theatre. Material will be supplied and available on the day, so come early to prepare. Those who would like to perform original material, should contact Sibbett via email for more information.
