Police are searching for two men wanted in East Hawaiii on outstanding warrants.

Christian E. Alameda, 41, is wanted for a total of three failure to appear and contempt of court warrants. He is also being sought for questioning in other ongoing investigations. He is described as 5-foot-6, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has a large tattoo on the right side of his face.

Shannon L. Souza, 43, is wanted on a warrant alleging violating probation, with a bond set at $20,000. He is described as 5-foot-6, 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Police ask anyone with information on these two individuals’ whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Police caution the public not to approach either man.

People who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.

Bridge closed

The Hakalau Bridge located mauka of Highway 19 on Kanna Road, between Chin Chuck Road and Kaiwiki-Homestead Road will be closed for repair work starting on Monday at 7 a.m. and will remain closed for the duration of the project.

The repair work involves the rehabilitation of the existing bridge structure which includes replacing the old timber components with new wood preservative treated components. The project is estimated to be completed by Wednesday, March 30, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Volcano man missing

Police are searching for Eddie Seenarine, 50, Volcano, who was reported missing on Christmas Day.

He was last seen in the Volcano area on Sept. 30.

He is described as 5-foot-9, 176 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Police ask anyone with any information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
