Public invited to August Waimea town meeting
The monthly town meeting will be held on August 4 from 5:15-7 p.m. at the Waimea School Cafeteria.

This topic is County and State boards and commissions, and volunteers serving on these boards thus fulfilling public service and helping to keep public servants in touch with their constituents.
Several current board and commission members representing Waimea/South and North Kohala and Waikoloa will share their thoughts and experiences as “the voice of the community” during the WCA town meeting. Also, Char Shigemura, Mayor Billy Kenoi’s executive assistant, will provide an overview of various boards and commissions to explain how residents can participate in County government.
